What I did on Saturday...

I scrapped.  All day long.  I dragged a load of stuff downstairs and sat on the floor and scrapped all day long.  It was bliss, and it's been too long since I did that.  I stopped only to visit a friend who is making the most beautiful handmade crackers and was trying to work out a way to cut them efficiently - and ended up convincing him that a Cricut was what he needed.  And so one was duly ordered!  Having never even seen one in real life myself, I'm looking forward to seeing it!

So here's what I made.  I finished off the half finished layout about our trip to Westminster Abbey.

I am so in love with this alphabet.  It's from 'Campfire' by October Afternoon, and I may well need another sheet of them!

This layout is yet another one with stamped and heat embossed letters for the title.  I can't get enough of that at the moment - I love the shiny and the look it gives - even if the floor ends up covered in the backings from foam squares!  The font is Budmo Jiggler by Banana Frog - thank you Viv for the borrow!

And finally... A very old photo I found lurking at the bottom of my scraps box.  The paper is 'Circa 1934' from Cosmo Cricket - I lovelovelove this collection.

Phew - that was a bit photo heavy!  Thanks for dropping by!

No problem. The layouts look gorgeous as always. Went to Sussex stationers, not a lot on sale. Shall keep my eyes open over next few weeks and see what I can pick up.

Gorgeous. I love the circle withthe burrons and how you've turned the pattern slightly.

Craig is hassling me to get back into scrapbooking and I do want to document stuff but I never was confident doing it. Maybe I just need a day like that - sit down and DO IT!
